Camden Deluxe Hotel in Dublin Ireland
4. March 2010
Dublin Talk
Camden Deluxe Hotel, Dublin
The Camden Street area is a thriving locality right in the centre of Dublin, within a few minutes walk of St. Stephens Green, Grafton Street & Temple Bar. With intimate restaurants and small shops lining the streets, it is popular with tourists and locals alike. One of my favourite pubs, the Bleeding Horse which dates from 1710, is situated next door to the hotel. The Camden Deluxe Hotel is the a great choice for young tourists because of its proximity to all that’s best in Dublin. It’s just a pleasant walk from the hotel to St. Stephen’s Green with its music stand, flower beds and fountains. From there, historic Trinity College, fashionable Grafton Street and the riverside artist’s quarter, Temple Bar, all beckon.
Bedrooms
The Hotel was originally the old Theatre DeLuxe from which it takes its name. Renovated to modern standards on the interior, each of it 34 ensuite bedrooms come equipped with direct dial telephone, television, tea / coffee making facilities and hairdryer. The exterior façade has been preserved as it was in 1957 when the theatre closed its doors.
Facilities
Facilities at the hotel include a large Poollhall that can hold up to 150 people and contains 20 pool tables. There is also a private snooker room as well as fussball tables, video games and dartboard. The Picture House restaurant offers an A La Carte menu and also provides a full carvery lunch every day. Guests can also enjoy a bite to eat and a coffee at the Good Food Café. In the evenings, the Picture House Bar is the place to go for a lively atmosphere and good craic.
Conference Facilities
Camden Street is a hub of nightlife. A great alterntive to Temple Bar which is usually where most tourists can be found. Camden Street would be a very popular alternative for young people in Dublin. You will find trendy bars, clubs to suit all needs, restaurants and live music venues all within a few minutes walk away

Travel through Life
30. April 2008
Dublin Talk
Make the Most of Every Stage of your Life
No one can predict the future and we can not guarantee our success or that of our children. Having said that, there are a lot of things we can do to greatly improve our chances of a happy and successful life for our family.
We can not choose where and to which family we’re born into, but one thing that is definitely in our control is what we achieve during our travel through life and the legacy we leave behind for future generations.
Life as a whole is series of stages that we all must travel through, it is what we achieve during these stages that build the life that we have.
Simply broken down the stages are:
Birth
Childhood
Adolescence
Adult
Elderly
The three key stages are the in the middle, Childhood, Adolescence and Adult.
During a person’s childhood their whole personality, morals, and first impressions of life are formed, as they grow and move into an adolescent they learn more and more, their mind is like a sponge soaking up information from School, Home life and peers while using their common sense every day to make sure they make the most of the information. If during this key stage someone is not exposed to enough information and stimulated to retain and use this vital information they will find it more difficult as an adult.
Once we become an adult it is expected that we know everything we need to know to get by in life, from an educational stand point, Social skills, to general knowledge and work ethics. It is generally not acceptable or excused for adults not to know these things, because we should learn all these basic things during our childhood and adolescence.
Although the majority of the time most peoples childhood and adolescence is quite similar, school, college, friends and sometimes experimentation, a person adult life is very varied.
Life is basically a journey that we must all travel, sometimes its like the perfect summer holiday at the beach, Sun, Sea, relaxing and chilling out, 5 star hotel accommdation and being pampered in spa resort, other times its like those rainy days on a camp site waiting for the weather to get better, or sharing a dorm room in a cheap hostel or youth hostel with loads of other backpackers.
But to be honest most of the time life is just like a jam packed holiday, filled with Places and unforgettable sights, its tiring sometimes to go to all the places, do everything you want to do and to fit everything into the time we all have, but in the long run the hard work and effort always pays off, and just like in life, in the evenings you can always relax and unwind with a drink and your feet up.
